How we pack goods and items for our customers
One of the main works in which a messenger company is involved is packing and unpacking of goods (objects, gifts items and things like that) for those customers who cannot do it by themselves for some reason or for those who prefer professional and secure packing. At Day & Night Courier, we pack and unpack (post-delivery) items on demand of the customers. Our priority while packing is to minimize any risk to the items and its package and deliver it in a presentable and sound condition.

Selection of the right box
The very first step while preparing the package is to select the right sized box. If the box is too small, it may cause breakage to the product and if it is too large then, it will require additional packing material and the items may jostle around a lot. So, we choose the best sized box for your items and make sure that it has enough room for packing material but is not too than needed. We only use hard and thick boxes rather than thin and fragile one, so that your items are not vulnerable to any breakage.
Choosing the best packing material
Now, after the box has been selected, comes the packing material. At Day & Night Courier Company, we use environment friendly and high quality packing materials. We use, bio-degradable bubble wraps, packing peanuts and soft-paper like tissue papers for packing fragile and costly items. No one desires to receive a broken vase or a disfigured piece of art! We put ample of packing material, so that the item remains firmly at one place in the box, during transit and the material absorbs any jerks or jolts which may be caused while shipping. In this way the item remains undamaged and secure. We do collect and take away packing materials after unpacking too (if unpacking is desired) but only on prior requests of the customers.
Using the best tape for sealing packages
Now, once the package has been prepared, it is time for its wrapping and secure packing. The tape used for sealing the box should be durable and must securely keep the box intact. We seal the boxes with a sturdy tape and double check that it is tightly sealed. We do not leave any spot which might be vulnerable to accidental breakage.
Now, one of the most important things in packing is the correct labeling of the package. If the labels are not placed properly, it can cause a lot of problem with scanning, reading and locating the package and most importantly can lead to confusion and delivery at wrong address. Therefore, it is very important to place the labels on a visible and prominent spot, so that it is easily visible to people and can be scanned just in one go.
